For this client, we created a fully operational, turnkey laboratory by structurally connecting four shipping containers. The result is a robust, flexible work environment specifically designed for complex analyses and research.
Breakdown by Unit
The laboratory is divided into four specialized zones, each with its own technical focus:
Unit 1: Pre-processing & Logistics This area serves as the foundation of the laboratory process. The focus here is on hygiene and preparation.
- Integrated sink with water supply.
- A comprehensive set of wall cabinets for efficient storage of sampling supplies.
- Strategically placed electrical outlets for small-scale pretreatment equipment.
Unit 2: Analysis & Equipment This unit serves as the heart of the test environment.
- Equipped with a robust electrical infrastructure capable of powering various analytical instruments simultaneously.
- Ergonomic work surfaces for a well-organized layout of measuring instruments.
Unit 3: Extraction & Biogas Technology The most technically complex unit, specifically designed with safety and specialized equipment in mind.
- High-quality exhaust system for a safe working environment and air extraction.
- Connection points and integration for a biogas plant.
- Heavy-duty electrical systems designed to meet the specific power requirements of the process plant.
Unit 4: Storage & Controlled Environment Management This area is equipped for the secure storage of samples and documentation.
- Equipped with a refrigerator for temperature-sensitive materials.
- Maximum storage capacity thanks to a full wall of wall cabinets.
- Additional power outlets for secondary equipment.
Technical Highlights
- Modular Connection: The containers are connected in such a way that there is a seamless transition between the spaces.
- Custom Electrical Systems: Each compartment has its own power plan, tailored to the specific equipment used there.
- Sustainability: By reusing shipping containers as the foundation, we opted for a sustainable and easily relocatable solution.
